While at Chateau Constructions, I worked in collaboration with Rod MacDonald on this compact spacious family home. The clients' brief was to maximise the development potential of the land within council's strict guidelines for this Inner-West heritage suburb, while leaving the largest back garden area possible. The clients had a few specific requirements, such as open plan living areas flowing to the entertaining area, a spiral staircase, a fourth bedroom en-suite suitable for an in-law arrangement and the main bedroom suite on the ground floor. The clients were concerned with achieving maximum size versus minimum cost. These drawings represent a work in progress and are not the final design.
