While at Chateau Constructions, I worked in collaboration with Rod MacDonald on this large family home. The clients' brief was to make the most of the beautiful, large block by siting the house and pool in a way that maximises the development potential of the land within council's guidelines, while leaving the largest back garden area possible. The clients had a few specific requirements, such as open plan living areas flowing to the entertaining area, large Vergola covered indoor/outdoor spaces with an outdoor fireplace/TV area, a cinema room, small gym room, 2000 bottle wine cellar and a ground floor guest suite. The clients were mainly concerned with open plan, flowing space and natural light without compromising on privacy. These drawings represent a work in progress and are not the final design.
