While at Chateau Constructions, I worked in collaboration with Rod MacDonald on this generously proportioned family home. Besides a specific accommodation schedule and interrelationship of spaces, the clients had a few specific requirements, such as being able to enjoy district views from the main bedroom and a laundry chute directly to the utility room below. The clients were also concerned with natural light and making the most of the northern aspect without compromising privacy, which dictated the placement of the garage in particular. These drawings are a work in progress and do not represent the final design.
